This is the saying but many people have unknowingly changed it to "I could care less." Meaning you do care some. You do care about the object/statement that was just presented to you.
It is easy to have things twisted when not paying attention to what is said or what the original meaning was or is.

Since definitions are changed over time the best way to understand the meaning of something is to go to the person who spoke it.

How often do we seek to understand and interpret the Bible based on preconceived thoughts? When we do this we are twisting the scripture to conform to our desires. Instead of changing ourselves to conform to the desires of God who is the author of scripture. Therefore it is very important that we seek to study and find the actual meaning of the text. Yes, the Word is unchanging, yet, it convicts us where we are today. It is living, active, piercing, judging, and settled. (unchanging)
Therefore, when struggling to comprehend the Word, it is best to go to the source of the Word, which is the Word. You will be amazed at the clarity of the Word when it is given, and explained by the Word.
