Ephesians 2:18 NASB95 for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
Through Christ, when we have the Holy Spirit we have access to the Father. This verse reminds me of the dial combination locks that were on our lockers in High School. Turn three turns to the right, then stop on four. Two turns to the left and stop on three. One turn to the right and stop on two.
There was only one pattern, one combination to open the lock, to enter your locker.
If you did not follow this pattern/combination you were not going to get into the locker.
Satan would like people to believe there are many ways to get into heaven, but just like that lock, you had to do it right.
God gives us the pattern/combination to come to the Father.
There is only one way and that is Jesus. You can only go that way by the guidance of the Spirit, and then you come to the Father who says welcome, enter into my presence. The 3 in-1 God says this is it! The only way to eternal life.
Anyone I gave the pattern/combination to, if they followed it could enter my locker. However, if they refused to follow the pattern or the combination either one, there was no entrance. It did not matter who had the combination they could enter. I might give the combination to a friend they might give it to someone I didn't know. Whether I knew them or not, if they had the info and followed the procedure, entrance was granted.
God has offered that info to everyone in His Holy Word. Under conviction of the Holy Spirit believe and follow Christ. Follow Him in the Holy Spirit and come before the Father God. It is so simple. Will you follow? Don't add an extra turn. Don't turn to the left first. Don't stop on a different number. As I said yesterday Jesus said follow Me. The combination is perfectly clear and available to any and everyone! The Son, the Spirit, and The Father are all God, are all separate, yet are all one.
Romans 10:9-11 NASB95 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
Enter in by the only way!
