If God took a snapshot of your life what would He more than likely find you doing? William Booth, the founder of the salvation army, made a decision to stage his snapshot by living the picture he wanted God to see. He once wrote, Some men's ambition is art, some men's ambition is fame, some men's ambition is gold, My ambition is the souls of men." His snapshot was of a man sharing Jesus. Jonathan Edwards who preached what many believe was the sermon that kicked off the movement of the Holy Spirit called the Great Awakening, did the same. He wrote in his diary at nineteen years of age, I am "Resolved that all men should live to the glory of God." He then followef that with this statement, "Resolved, second, that whether others do this or not, I will." Both of these men made sure that the likelihood of God seeing them living for Him was great. Jesus when closing His prayer shortly before His crucifixion said, ‭John 17:26 "And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

Jesus said I have lived to share your love! It is with this love for God that they lived their life seeking people to love with the Gospel. Would your snapshot find you sharing the love of Jesus? I have to sadly admit that mine would likely not find me Sharing the Way. I must work on this. It starts with a prayer. My prayer statement today. "I resolve to share the love of Jesus". Do not pray this unless you mean it.

LoveBro. Scott.
